Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport manufactured goods from the facility to designated customer sites across the region.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption according to company requirements.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient route planning and timely arrivals.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance schedule of the assigned vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by verifying delivery documentation and securing signatures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training.
- Valid Professional Driver’s License with appropriate restriction codes (RC 1, 2, or 3).
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or at-fault accidents.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in the Philippines.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading of goods.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for minor vehicle maintenance issues.
