Taliworks Corporation Berhad is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Project Control Manager to join our dynamic team in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project control systems including scheduling, cost engineering, and progress measurement.
- Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and monitor critical paths to ensure timely project delivery.
- Lead the budget preparation process and implement rigorous cost control procedures to prevent budget overruns.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative risk assessments to identify potential project bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present high-level monthly progress reports and performance dashboards for the executive management team.
- Manage the change control process, evaluating the impact of scope changes on project costs and timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement and subcontracting teams to track material deliveries and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project controls or planning within the construction and engineering industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel modeling.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and Cost Engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale infrastructure, water, or highway projects in Malaysia.
- Professional certification such as PMP, CCP (Certified Cost Professional), or PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
