Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans for ongoing construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and site personnel to resolve quality-related technical issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed documentation, progress reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR) for stakeholders.
- Manage the handover process and ensure all documentation meets statutory and internal quality requirements.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and identifying trends in construction quality.
- Supervise onsite testing activities and verify material quality against approved standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC or project engineering within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of local building regulations, safety standards, and international quality management systems (ISO).
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical schematics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment.
- Professional certification in QA/QC or related project management disciplines is highly advantageous.
