Sabio Advisory Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer (Security Systems) to join our growing team in Singapore’s Central Region. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering integrated security solutions that safeguard people, assets, and operations.
You will oversee the full project lifecycle for Security Systems and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) installations – from design review and procurement to on-site execution, testing, and handover. Working closely with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, you will ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a passion for security technology – including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) – to take ownership of complex, mission-critical projects in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution for security systems and ELV installations, ensuring compliance with design specs and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct site surveys, prepare method statements, risk assessments, and project schedules.
- Oversee procurement, installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV, ACS, IDS, and related security equipment.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and integration to ensure seamless operation and handover.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation – including as-built drawings, test reports, and user manuals.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources; report status updates to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure all works adhere to safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project engineering for Security Systems, ELV, or integrated building systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and related hardware/software.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s regulatory standards and security system certifications (e.g., T4, SS 656).
- Excellent project management skills – scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and vendor coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project), and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems on-site, and adapt to changing project demands.
