Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the project team in the end-to-end planning and execution of daily construction activities.
- Manage, monitor, and regulate project schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to critical milestones.
- Implement strict quality control measures to ensure all works meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and optimize site workflows.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking costs, controlling expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure full compliance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations.
- Prepare accurate progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management within the building construction industry in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, building codes, and local authority submission processes.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM tools is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, WSH Certification) is mandatory.
