As a Project Manager, you will be the key driver of project success, managing schedules, budgets, risk, and quality control. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues proactively and maintain a safe working environment. Your leadership will directly contribute to the company’s reputation for delivering outstanding built environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage building construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to align project objectives and resolve conflicts.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and financial forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships, negotiating terms to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure timely documentation, approvals, and handover of completed works, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in building construction, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies in Singapore.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ACMI, or relevant safety credentials (e.g., WSH Officer) are highly advantageous.
