Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with architectural plans and engineering specifications.
- Manage project budgets, including resource allocation, cost control, and procurement to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Supervise site operations to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality control, and environmental compliance are maintained.
- Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing proactive problem-solving strategies and contingency plans.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, project updates, and financial documentation for senior management review.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet statutory regulations and building codes in Singapore.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction management discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, BCA requirements, and WSH safety guidelines.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams, subcontractors, and client expectations effectively.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP or related engineering certification) is a significant advantage.
