Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor fit-out and construction projects from inception to final handover.
- Manage site operations to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively mitigate potential risks or delays.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
- Review structural drawings and ensure technical compliance with building regulations and civil engineering best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for management and key clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the construction or fit-out industry.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, structural specifications, and local Malaysian construction standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams and sub-contractors effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Malay.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
