Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and deliverables.
  • Oversee on-site engineering activities and provide technical guidance to resolve site-specific issues.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance, preparing regular reports on budget utilization and forecasting.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and local building codes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and variation orders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline recognized by the PE Board.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management within the construction industry in Singapore.
  • Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to handover.
  • Strong knowledge of local building regulations, BCA requirements, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
