Job Description

We are a leading interior fit-out company specializing in commercial projects, including F&B and A&A works. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our fit-out projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in commercial fit-out projects, particularly in the F&B and A&A sectors. This contract role offers a competitive salary of $4,000 to $5,000 per month and is based in the Central Region.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. You will work closely with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key duties include developing project plans, managing budgets and resources, coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be required to handle change orders, resolve conflicts, and report progress to management.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You must be able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction or interior fit-out industry is required, with specific experience in F&B and A&A projects being essential. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as PMP will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for commercial interior fit-out projects.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, architects, and consultants, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Handle change orders, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the commercial interior fit-out industry.
  • Proven experience managing F&B and A&A fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
