Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for banking technology initiatives, from planning through implementation and delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective contingency strategies
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and project success
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and organizational policies throughout project execution
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management methodologies
Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the banking or financial services industry
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technology projects, including core banking systems, digital transformation, or payment solutions
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Scrum) and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., BNM, PCI-DSS) is highly desirable
