Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain and engineering research projects.
  • Coordinate with principal investigators, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor project performance and implement mitigation strategies for risks related to supply chain constraints or engineering bottlenecks.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports for university leadership and funding agencies.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental workshops and technical briefings to align team objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies, safety standards, and project grant requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically within supply chain or large-scale engineering operations.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a research or academic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or JIRA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and administrative functions.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing government-funded research grants is a distinct advantage.
