Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct specifications and approvals.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm lead times, quantities, price terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date supplier records, price lists, and contract documents.
- Monitor inventory levels and trigger timely replenishment to prevent production downtime.
- Compare supplier quotations, negotiate favorable terms, and obtain required approvals.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align on demand forecasts and material requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, track key performance indicators, and support internal audits and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and invoice verification.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accurate records.
