Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain price quotations and negotiate terms.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.

Qualifications

  • At least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
