Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services.
- Monitor order status and follow up with vendors to ensure onâtime delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Support price comparison, quotation analysis, and costâsaving initiatives.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to align inventory levels with demand.
- Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, invoice issues, and vendor performance concerns.
- Help prepare reports on purchasing activity, spend analysis, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1â2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for vendor and internal liaison.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic import/export regulations and documentation (advantage).
