Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective procurement strategies to minimize costs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and proactive supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate closely with production and warehouse departments to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing schedules.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including purchase order issuance, tracking, and invoice verification.
- Maintain comprehensive records of supplier contracts, lead times, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or aluminium industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving significant cost savings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex supply chain issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment.
