Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from requisition processing to purchase order issuance.
- Source, vet, and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Negotiate terms, payment conditions, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Prepare and analyze daily/monthly procurement reports to track spending and supplier performance.
- Ensure all purchasing activities strictly comply with company policies and local procurement regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple supplier accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with inventory management software (ERP).
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the local market landscape within Metro Manila.
