Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to anticipate material needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audits.
- Resolve supply issues, delays, or discrepancies through effective communication with vendors and internal teams.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles—construction or real estate background is a strong plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement software.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of local construction materials, suppliers, and market conditions in Metro Manila.
