Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy before processing payment
- Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions and supplier information
- Collaborate with other departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses
Qualifications
- College graduate with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
