Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Define and implement comprehensive QA standards, processes, and best practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, and performance testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis on defects, and track issues to resolution in Jira.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews to ensure quality is integrated from the onset.
- Mentor junior team members on automation best practices and modern testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in QA Automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Playwright and significant experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and integration testing.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database management for test data validation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying system bottlenecks and risks.
