As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in defining our testing strategy. You will be instrumental in migrating or enhancing our testing suites using Playwright, ensuring our applications meet the highest performance and reliability standards. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across various environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects within JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless automated testing workflows.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and improve overall user experience.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Hands-on professional experience with Playwright is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with version control tools like Git and working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of API testing, performance testing, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
