Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the QA/QC team, including inspectors and technicians.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and inspection plans for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis on non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports, including KPIs, defect analysis, and trends, to management.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Facilitate quality-related training sessions for production staff to foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
- Collaborate with the engineering team during new product introductions to ensure quality is built into the design and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a QA/QC supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (lighting or electronics industry is a distinct advantage).
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Proven experience with quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, and SPC.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
- Willing to work in Silang, Cavite and amenable to shifting schedules if required.
