Join BMI Roofing Systems as a QA/QC Inspector – Building Envelope and play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards on major construction projects. Based on-site in Rawang, Selangor, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of TPO roofing and sandwich panel installations. Your meticulous inspections and audits will directly contribute to project success, compliance with specifications, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Conduct daily on-site quality inspections of TPO roofing and sandwich panel installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Perform audits of installation procedures, materials, and workmanship, identifying non-conformances and initiating corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation for all building envelope activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement improvement plans.
- Monitor the handling, storage, and application of roofing and cladding materials to prevent defects.
- Verify that all testing and commissioning activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and review of quality control plans and inspection test plans (ITPs) specific to building envelope systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within the construction industry, preferably with building envelope or roofing systems.
- Strong knowledge of TPO roofing, sandwich panels, and associated installation standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and inspection techniques such as visual inspection, dimensional checks, and adhesion testing.
- Proficiency in preparing inspection reports and using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Rawang and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Possession of relevant certification (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
