Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP guidelines.
  • Perform sensory, physical, and basic laboratory testing on products and accurately document results.
  • Maintain detailed quality records and reports to support traceability and audits.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing and updating quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained regularly.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of quality control experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, or equivalent food safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, observational, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with quality management software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work shift hours if required.
