Responsibilities
- Perform routine in‑process and final product quality inspections according to SOPs and customer specifications.
- Conduct raw material and packaging material testing to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records, batch documentation, and traceability systems.
- Support internal and external audits, including GMP, ISO 9001, and HACCP assessments.
- Investigate deviations, initiate CAPA actions, and track effectiveness of corrective measures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to drive process improvements and reduce waste.
- Participate in vendor qualification and supplier quality monitoring programs.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices relevant to flavors and fragrances.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QC/QA within manufacturing, preferably in food, beverage, flavor, fragrance, or cosmetics sectors.
- Solid understanding of GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, and other relevant quality management systems.
- Proficient in laboratory testing techniques and familiar with analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectrophotometer).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective communication abilities to interact with cross‑functional teams and external auditors.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality tracking software.
