Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the QC/QA team to ensure product excellence and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defect rates.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality.
- Monitor supplier quality to ensure incoming raw materials meet all company specifications.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the plastic manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing quality projects successfully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in using statistical software and quality management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
