Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) compliant with ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certifications.
- Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections to guarantee adherence to specifications and food safety requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA, BFAD, and international food safety regulations; prepare for audits and inspections.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Manage the budget, resources, and training programs for the QA department to foster a culture of quality excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive quality assurance experience in the food manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and other food safety standards and regulations.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with local and international food regulations and ability to implement best practices in a fast-paced environment.
