As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be the guardian of our product integrity. You will oversee the end-to-end quality monitoring process, from initial receipt of goods to final dispatch. Your expertise in food safety standards will help mitigate risks and ensure that our operations remain a benchmark for quality in the manufacturing and logistics industry. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of products in cold storage to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor and document temperature levels throughout the facility to ensure optimal storage conditions for perishable goods.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
- Perform regular audits of sanitation procedures and storage equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Document and investigate any quality deviations or non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for process improvement.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to streamline quality checks during loading and unloading.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biology, or a related technical field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the food manufacturing or cold chain logistics sector.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP principles.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in cold storage environments (low temperatures) for inspection purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues in real-time.
