This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Quality Control Staff, you will be the frontline guardian of our product standards. You will conduct thorough inspections, monitor production processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to our reputation for superior snack products.

If you have a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive attitude, and the desire to grow within a dynamic organization, we invite you to apply and become part of the Stateline Snack Food family.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Monitor production lines for adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), sanitation protocols, and food safety standards.
  • Document and report any quality deviations, non-conformities, or defects immediately to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • Perform routine tests (e.g., weight, moisture, packaging integrity) using calibrated equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the implementation and review of HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized documentation and providing necessary data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

Qualifications

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent; a vocational degree or college-level coursework in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in quality control within a food manufacturing or similar production environment is preferred but not required—fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills to detect subtle quality issues.
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance concepts such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and complete documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks in a production floor environment.
