Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures for SMT manufacturing processes
- Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and tests to ensure compliance with standards
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality methodologies and best practices
- Manage non-conformance reports and coordinate root cause analysis activities
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical discipline
- Proven experience in quality engineering or quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with SMT manufacturing processes and inspection methodologies
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software applications
- Professional certification such as CQE or Six Sigma would be advantageous
