Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans for products and production processes to meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Design, execute, and document quality tests, inspections, and product release criteria across all production lines.
  • Collect, analyze data and metrics (SPC, capability studies, yield, scrap) to identify trends and drive data-driven improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) with production, engineering, and suppliers.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal standards.
  • Support internal and external audits; prepare audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in new product introductions, process validation, and transfer of designs to manufacturing with quality assurance in mind.
  • Provide training and guidance to operators and staff on quality tools, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC) and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective improvements.
  • Proficiency with QA software, statistical software, and advanced Excel; ability to generate clear reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
