Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for new and ongoing construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure all costs are accounted for within the approved budget.
- Conduct regular site measurements and valuations to verify progress against contract documents.
- Manage contract administration, including processing variations, claims, and payment certificates.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities to resolve queries.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and QS-specific software (e.g., Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
