In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of construction cost management. You will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for tendering and procurement purposes.
- Manage project costs, budgets, and cash flow projections throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and payments.
- Conduct regular site inspections and material take-offs to ensure accurate cost control.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and final accounts for clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, or Quantity Surveying Technology.
- Relevant professional membership (e.g., ACIS, CIS, or ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the construction sector.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
