Hey Rocket is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. We are currently managing a diverse portfolio of ongoing property maintenance and enhancement works across civil and infrastructure projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing costs, ensuring value for money, and providing expert financial advice to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Administer contracts, ensuring strict compliance with terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify measurements for interim payments and final accounts.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve variations, claims, and discrepancies efficiently.
- Assess tenders and provide commercial advice to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Monitor project cash flow and ensure all financial obligations are met on time.
- Ensure all cost control processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, specifically within civil and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, standard forms of contract, and tendering procedures.
- Familiarity with cost control software and project management tools (e.g., PlanRadar, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- RICS or ACQS membership is highly desirable.
