Job Description
Join our dynamic construction team as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems. Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for ACMV projects
- Conduct regular site measurements and valuation of works in progress
- Analyze and compare contractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing
- Monitor project budgets and provide variance reports to stakeholders
- Review and process payment certificates for subcontractors and suppliers
- Implement value engineering strategies to optimize project costs
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve contractual and financial disputes
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying with ACMV specialization
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, CostX)
- Familiarity with FIDIC and Singapore Standard contracts
- Certification from Singapore Institute of Surveyors (SISV) or equivalent
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in North Region construction projects preferred
