Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of project cost estimation, from pre-tender to final account settlement.
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost plans, tender documents, and contract conditions for fit-out projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify quantities, and ensure work aligns with budgetary constraints.
- Prepare progress claims and manage variations, ensuring timely submission and certification.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve site-related contractual issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts (e.g., SIA or PSSCOC) and building procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and strong time management capabilities.
