Asian Technicon Managers & Consultants Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor Head to lead our project management team in Makati City. This managerial role is pivotal in ensuring our clients' goals of time, cost, scope, and quality are meticulously achieved. You will oversee all quantity surveying activities, from initial cost planning through to final account settlement, driving efficiency and profitability across multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quantity surveying team, providing guidance and ensuring best practices in cost management.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for new and ongoing projects.
- Oversee tender processes, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation, and negotiation with contractors.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage contractual agreements, variations, and claims to safeguard the company's financial interests.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify measurements against contracts.
- Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and financial forecasts to senior management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, POMI) and local cost standards.
- Proven track record in cost planning, budgeting, and financial control on large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, Masterbill, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite.
- Professional certification (e.g., QS licensure, RICS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
