As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing project costs, ensuring budgetary control, and driving project profitability from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Perform accurate take-offs, cost estimation, and budget preparation for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of subcontractor quotations.
- Handle contract administration, including processing progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to monitor project costs against budgets.
- Attend site meetings and conduct regular site visits to track progress and verify work quantities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and cost forecasts for management review.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and mitigate potential project risks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically within the Interior Fit-Out or Construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management software is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
