Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems? Our client, a leading firm in the construction sector represented by Trust Recruit, is looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join their team in the Tagore area. In this role, you will be at the heart of the project lifecycle, managing costs and contracts from the initial tendering phase through to final account settlement. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from $3,500 to $4,800, supplemented by a Variable Bonus (VB). This is a permanent role with a 5.25-day work week, operating Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays from 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM.

You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure commercial success and cost-efficiency across all assigned projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive take-off and preparation of bill of quantities (BQ) for M&E services.
- Manage the entire project tendering process, including evaluating tender documents and preparing competitive submissions.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and negotiate quotations for various M&E packages.
- Prepare and process progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts in a timely manner.
- Analyze project costs and prepare budget reports to ensure projects remain within financial targets.
- Review and manage contract documentation to identify potential commercial risks.
- Collaborate with the project team to provide cost-effective solutions and value engineering options.
- Maintain records of site measurements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field of study.
- At least 2-4 years of professional experience in M&E Quantity Surveying within the Singapore construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, including ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary.
- Proven experience in project tendering and contract administration.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard measurement software.
- Highly meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
