As a Radiographer, your key focus will be performing general radiographic examinations (X-rays), preparing and positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment according to strict protocols. Beyond technical imaging, you will assist in patient care activities, support administrative tasks, and help maintain a sterile, organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency radiographic examinations (X-rays) as requested by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions to ensure cooperation and comfort.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety regulations and clinic infection control policies.
- Assist in patient care, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic clinical support.
- Manage patient records, image archiving (PACS/RIS), and generate accurate documentation.
- Support daily clinic operations by handling appointment scheduling, administrative tasks, and patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and registration with the Malaysian Board of Radiographers.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, radiographic positioning, and imaging techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays (24-hour clinic operation).
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
