Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency radiographic examinations (X-rays) as requested by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions to ensure cooperation and comfort.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety regulations and clinic infection control policies.
  • Assist in patient care, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic clinical support.
  • Manage patient records, image archiving (PACS/RIS), and generate accurate documentation.
  • Support daily clinic operations by handling appointment scheduling, administrative tasks, and patient inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
  • Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and registration with the Malaysian Board of Radiographers.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, radiographic positioning, and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays (24-hour clinic operation).
