Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials to ensure consistent supply and cost-efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, contract negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and ISO quality management standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of solid experience in procurement or purchasing, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
- In-depth knowledge of raw material procurement processes and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
