Benchmark Electronics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our high-performing HR team in Bayan Lepas, Penang, for an 18-month contract. As a global leader in Engineering and Manufacturing Services (EMS), we are looking for a recruitment professional who can help us identify and attract the best talent to drive our business success.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. You will work closely with department heads to understand their manpower needs and implement innovative sourcing strategies to find top-tier candidates in a competitive market. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet, social media, and professional networks.
- Facilitate a smooth and engaging candidate experience throughout the entire hiring journey.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate data and reporting.
- Coordinate with local universities and recruitment agencies to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Conduct salary negotiations and prepare employment contracts in compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Support HR initiatives such as employer branding and recruitment marketing events.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of technical sourcing techniques and familiarity with local job portals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
- Familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law and recruitment best practices.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
