ANKH Executive Search is partnering with leading banks and financial institutions to identify a Regional Sales Director for Core & Digital Banking across the APAC region. This Singapore-based role reports to the Global Chief Revenue Officer and holds full ownership of APAC revenue, strategy, and customer success.
In this senior leadership position, you will drive growth by selling core banking and digital banking platforms, modernizing client environments, and collaborating with product and delivery teams to tailor solutions that unlock significant value for banks and financial institutions across the region.
You will lead a high-performing sales team, build robust multi-country pipelines, and cultivate executive relationships with CIOs, COOs, CMOs, and heads of digital banking to win strategic contracts. The role demands deep APAC market knowledge, superior negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex procurement cycles and regulatory considerations.
Key responsibilities include developing regional GTM strategies, managing forecasting and quota attainment, shaping market messaging, and partnering with Marketing, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead regional sales strategy for Core & Digital Banking solutions across APAC, including target markets and multi-country expansion plans.
- Own end-to-end revenue lifecycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale expansion; maintain accurate forecasts and CRM hygiene.
- Develop multi-country account plans, identify strategic opportunities, and build a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed quotas.
- Engage with C-suite banking executives (CIOs, COOs, CMOs, Heads of Digital) to articulate business value and secure strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with Product, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery teams to tailor offerings to client needs and drive successful implementations.
- Build and manage a partner ecosystem, including banks, systems integrators, and technology alliances to accelerate growth.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a regional sales team; recruit, coach, and perform ongoing development to sustain high performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience in Banking/FinTech with a proven APAC track record.
- Demonstrated success in selling core banking and digital banking platforms and managing complex procurement cycles.
- Strong leadership experience; capable of building and scaling regional sales teams across multiple countries.
- Extensive network with senior banking decision-makers (CIO, CTO, COO, Head of Digital).
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to articulate ROI and competitive differentiation.
- Willingness to travel across the APAC region; fluent English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
