Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant patients.
- Monitor the health and well-being of both mother and fetus during pregnancy and labor.
- Assist in normal deliveries and recognize the signs of complications requiring emergency intervention.
- Conduct patient education sessions regarding family planning, nutrition, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with doctors and other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Administer vaccinations, vitamins, and other prescribed treatments in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment in the birthing or examination area.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Midwife with an active PRC license.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply; clinical rotation experience is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a gentle, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Willingness to adapt to shifting schedules and emergency clinical demands.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical hygiene and safety.
- Basic proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) management.
