Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and acquire new SME clients through targeted business development efforts and networking.
- Consult with business owners to understand their financing needs and propose appropriate loan solutions.
- Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals and conduct financial analysis for new loan applications.
- Collaborate with internal risk and operations teams to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine business development strategies.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for loan production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in business development, commercial lending, or SME banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit assessment, financial statements, and lending products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- A proactive 'hunter' mindset with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-energy, performance-driven team.
