Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced automation software frameworks for semiconductor fabrication environments.
- Integrate IoT sensors and edge computing solutions to enhance real-time factory floor monitoring and control.
- Architect and optimize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to improve operational efficiency and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate manual wafer fabrication processes and reduce cycle times.
- Analyze complex manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
- Lead R&D projects from conceptualization through to pilot implementation and performance validation.
- Document technical specifications and mentor junior engineers in best practices for FAB automation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing or industrial automation environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for system development.
- Deep understanding of MES architecture, SECS/GEM protocols, and industrial communication standards.
- Experience with IoT platforms, edge integration, and cloud-based data processing architectures.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
