Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical examinations and assessments for patients across various age groups.
  • Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history and clinical findings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for all patient encounters.
  • Provide preventative health advice, health education, and patient counseling.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic workflow.
  • Prescribe medications and interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging) in accordance with clinical guidelines.
  • Manage chronic conditions and follow-up care for long-term patient health.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and clinical safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized university.
  • Must be fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a primary care or hospital setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
