Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients presenting with various medical conditions
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical history reviews to ensure accurate clinical evaluation
- Participate in patient rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical guidelines
- Provide patient education and counseling on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures
- Assist in emergency medical situations and provide appropriate urgent care as required
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical excellence standards
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution with full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare colleagues
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective patient interaction and documentation
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with medical advancements
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Willingness to work in a semi-urban/rural healthcare setting in Raub, Pahang
