Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, diagnostics, and patient consultations.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and follow-up care plans.
- Manage patient medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide emergency care and stabilize critical patients in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to strict medical ethics, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree.
- Completion of housemanship or internship requirements.
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council (e.g., Malaysian Medical Council).
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and sound medical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact empathetically with patients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure healthcare environment.
