Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to outpatients and triage patients with urgency
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose, and manage common illnesses and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust care as needed
- Coordinate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care
- Manage medical documentation, coding, and ensure accuracy of records
- Respond to emergencies and on-call duties as required by the clinic
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and CME activities
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) with full registration in Malaysia
- Postgraduate training in family medicine, internal medicine, or relevant clinical experience in primary care
- Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and medical license
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic medical records
- Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
- Willingness to relocate to Kuching, Sarawak and adapt to local clinical guidelines
